Re: Application for a Non-Immigrant Visa for Family Reunion
This is to request you to grant me and my spouse a non-immigrant visa for a family reunion. As you are aware that one of the greatest festivals of Nepal, Dashain is at hand and we both husband and wife would like to celebrate this festival with our son, Mr. ……………………………………………. who is living and working in ………………………, …………….., ………….. the USA, as an entry through the diversity visa in the year………, along with his wife and children.
He has been working for…………………………..in the capacity of a……………………………… for a period of…………………..years. In these years, we have not seen each other and shared our pains and pleasures either, which is quite not in practice in our family culture. We would be very much obliged to have granted a visa for our family reunion.
I am a retired government official from the Ministry of……………………………, in the capacity of………………………. After my retirement from the office, I started working as a freelance social worker pertaining to……………………. Presently, I am a life member of the Nepal Red Cross Society. Besides, I am also engaged in………………………………… and my wife runs a small boutique.
In light of all these facts, I would like to submit this petition to you to be kind enough to grant me and my wife a non-immigrant visa for Family Reunion. Given the approval, we could celebrate this Festival of Dashain together unlike the previous years.
I hereby state that I shall bear all the travel and stay expenses to be incurred to and fro, and affirm that we shall be back to Nepal shortly after the Festival of Dashain as we can not afford to let our business remain idle longer.
Enclosed herewith are my and my spouse’s copies of bank statements, passports, and other documents for your further perusal.
